Nepal Build November 2024

Join Her International on an incredible journey of cultural immersion and community impact in Nepal this November!

Our November 6 - 20th trip begins with exploration in the vibrant streets of Kathmandu where you will soak in the rich local culture and sights. From there, we venture to the Dang region in Western Nepal, where for 9 days you will work to construct new classrooms.

No prior construction experience is necessary, just bring your positive attitude and heaps of enthusiasm! join our team and be a part of something special!

The Trip!

When you land in Kathmandu on November 6th you will be met by representatives from Creating Possibilities Nepal http://www.cpn.org.np/ our partner NGO in Nepal. They will arrange for transportation to your hotel where you will meet up with your fellow adventurers!!

Your first day in Kathmandu will allow you to have some free time to get over jet lag and get to see the local sights. You will have dinner as a group, but the day is left open.

On November 8th everyone will fly to Lamahi. Starting November 9th you will head to Chainpur Secondary School in Dang where you will work on the construction of two additional classrooms. The next 10 days will be exhausting, but fulfilling. While in Dang, you will have the opportunity to meet many of Her International students and mothers.

During the build, you will be staying in hotels in Lamahi. These modest hotels may have WIFI and may have warm water for showers.

After flying back to Kathmandu on the 18th, there will be one more free day in Kathmandu to pick up a few souvenirs in Thamel before departing on November 20th.

This is Nepal, all of this can change in an instant. So while this is the plan, it may and possibly will change!!

Total cost of the trip is $2,700/person. This includes accommodation, most meals, and all ground transportation.

This does not include FLIGHT, visa, immunizations, health insurance, or any daily activities. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required as soon as possible to reserve your spot. The balance of $2,200 is due by September 1, 2024 (payment can be paid in full at any time).

Included in the $2,700 trip cost is a program contribution of $400. These funds will go directly to the build project. The amount of $400 is tax-deductible and you will receive a tax receipt.
